Caliber Connection

We are very excited to announce that HOME WORKS! received a $25,000 Roslyn S. Jaffe Award grant for our high-caliber leadership and innovative, high-impact program benefiting children and women. CEO and Founder Karen Kalish will accept the award at the Fourth Annual Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards Luncheon on October 26th at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, hosted by Soledad O’Brien.

The Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards is a not-for-profit foundation to honor the lifelong contributions of Roslyn S. Jaffe, founder of the Ascena retail group, inc., a multi-billion dollar family of brands including dressbarn, Anne Taylor, and Lane Bryant. Starting in 2014, the awards recognize three “pioneering individuals who have persevered in their commitment to making the world a better place for women and/or children in the areas of health, education, social reform, and self-esteem.” This year, the program received over 2,000 applications. We are so proud and humbled to be in the company of other great nonprofits
